The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
I chose this book, The Fault In Our Stars, by John green, thinking that it would kind of be a girly story and just another one of those sad stories. I am not going to lie, I am a very emotional man and that is one of the reasons why I picked out this book. It is the story of a 16 year-old girl, Hazel Grace Lancaster, who has thyroid cancer. At this point in the book I was bored, to be honest, until Augustus waters came into the book. Hazel Grace meets Augustus at a support group where he is with his friend Isaac who is going to become blind soon. Augustus has ostocaroma forcing him to lose part of his leg.
I enjoyed this book because of the flow of it. It always kept me interested and I just wanted to keep reading. Although the book was very sad of course, It had little mixes of comedy that made me laugh out loud. Augustus refused to talk about cancer, he just wanted to talk about life and to make it count. He was doing all he could do to give Hazel Grace the most amazing life that was possible.
In conclusion, I found this book very interesting. Hazel Grace never had a normal life until she met Augustus Waters. She fell in love with him, like falling asleep, slowly and then all at once. Reading this book, I completely new how the ending was going to go. Well at least I thought I did but it’s not like that. The ending was so turning that it made me confused. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but just read the book.
