The Feeling
Have you ever had that feeling where you get so hyped about one thing that you just go berzerk? My definition of energetic is to go crazy over the littlest things and even the biggest things. I get most excited about my football games even though our team isn’t very good. My opinion on the topic is that I feel it isn’t overrated and anyone can get energetic about something, I just do it every day.
My freshmen football team right now is 0-4. But that’s okay because we know that if we work harder, we will get better. Every game, before the national anthem, I get so fired up because it is the one place where you get to express all of your anger or anything that is building up inside you onto the other team, and there is one thing that I have to say about that. It’s an awesome feeling. Of course it hurts to lose, but it is still an amazing feeling to be a part of something like that.
I remember the first dance I ever went to was in 8th grade, I believe. I was pretty nervous because i had never went to a dance before that and I thought it was going to be boring. The dance was in the blue gym (the main gym), and it was pitch black with a dj in the corner. All of the girls were in dresses and the guys were in ties. I hadn’t realized what I was getting myself into until the music started. What happened at that dance was totally not me and to this day... Dances are not my thing.

We all know that the St. Joseph varsity football games are on friday nights, at 7 o’clock or so. These football games are very important because it shows other schools that we are a force to be reckoned with. The other night, we lost to lakeshore, which is our biggest rival. I’ve got to be honest with you, it was a pretty devastating loss but varsity kept their heads up and they know that they’ll get em’ next time. But there is nothing like the atmosphere at the games.. Night sky, the smell of popcorn, screaming fans, and the players as they run out of that tunnel giving you goose bumps. Did I not mention one of those screaming fans was me. I go to those games at my own risk of losing my voice and every game I have gone to, I’ve done exactly that. It is an amazing feeling.
So here we are again asking ourselves that one question again, have you ever gotten that feeling where you get so hyped about something you just lose your mind? It is not a very rare occasion for me because it happens to me everyday. So to answer that question.. Yes I have, and I always will.
