Origin

    I am originally from Romeo, Michigan which is in the metro detroit area.  The people in Romeo are amazing, but the town is nothing compared to Saint Joseph, so let’s switch gears. Saint Joe is the place where tourists invade.  I remember when I moved here it felt like vacation every single day, and I felt like an idiot when I was with my parents because they are picture nazis.  

    Silver beach is the ultimate hangout.  Despite the sand and strict life guards it is the one place in the summer where you can just chill, and get sun kissed.  Then of course there is the pier and pier jumping which is legendary.  It’s dangerous, yes, but if you’re smart about it and you know how to handle things, I assure you, it’s the best time of your life.

    The second “ultimate hangout” is the Saint Joe river.  That place has to be, by far, my favorite place to be during any time of the year.  It’s the get away, it’s your freedom.  You sit back on your chair in front of the bonfire, with your pole in the water and just live life right there with all of your friends.  I couldn’t think of a better place to be when you’re bored.  During the summer, I went there about every single night, and that’s why the summer of 2015 was by far my best summer.  I sure hope the summer of 2016 can top it.

    Now, the warren dunes.  I’ve been there once and I, to be honest, hated it.  1. I hate sand.(gets all up in your toes and stuff), 2. I hate hills.(very tiring, especially in hot sand burning your feet).  Everybody loves the warren dunes when I find it as amusing as a dog chasing it’s own tail.  I’d much rather hang out at riverview(the river).  Over all Saint Joe is breath taking and it has to be one of the nicest places in Michigan.  If not the best.
